Late Wednesday we were alerted that foal #80 was not present with its mother Courtney’s Island Dove who is with herd stallion Riptide

Upon further investigation this report was found to be true. With no location or basis point we were not able to locate the foal. At only a few days old there are many different potential causes of mortality that can happen quickly. Dove did not seem disturbed or distressed Wednesday so it is likely that she was there when the foal had passed.
