By CHINCOTEAGUE VOLUNTEER FIRE CO.
June 3, 2026

The vet and staff fought hard for this little guy and he unfortunately could not overcome the illness. He was humanely euthanized to prevent unnecessary suffering.

As with all foals it is hard losing them but fortunately our vets are learning more about why these things are happening, the symptoms, the bloodwork, different important timings which will help us help foals in the future.
